One of the most popular enduro race series in South East Australia is kick starting again after a lull through the depths of winter. The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series will be hosting Round 3 at Coondoo Road, Nowra, on August 19th. Like the last two rounds, racing will take place over 7 hours, not 8. Shorter days are coming to an end though, so the rest of the series will be 8 hour races.
The trails at Coondoo Road are well regarded for the flowing single track hidden in the forest. The crew from Chocolate Foot combine work with the local club South Coast United Mountain Bikers (SCUM) to make sure a great loop is set up for racing. There is a GPS trace of the route available here.
Racing will start at 8am on the 19th of August, but there is camping available for Saturday night – just get in before 9pm! SRAM, Muc-Off and the Body Mechanic will be on hand to help keep you and your bike running. Giant will be offering demo rides on selected bikes from their line too. This is a great way to test a new bike to really make sure it’s the one for you.
Entries can be done online here and close at midnight Wednesday 15th. So get in quick, and don’t miss out on a great days racing on the South Coast of NSW.
